The Canyon 28 East showing area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. The stratigraphy is intruded by Late Triassic granodiorite, Early Jurassic monzodiorite to gabbro (Texas Creek Plutonic Suite) and Triassic to Jurassic syenite to monzonite (Copper Mountain Plutonic Suite).

A 60 centimeter wide quartz pod is weakly gosssanous and manganese stained and assayed 1.72 grams per tonne gold (Sample 90G-HS-W07, (Assessment Report 21442).
